My name is James Young, and I am the General Manager of the Inn On Long Lake. Blogging is something new to me, so forgive me if this is not as polished as you might hope.
I have been the General Manager here for about 2 years now, but have worked in the hotel for many years prior to that. I have spent my entire working life in hotels, across BC and Alberta. It is an industry that I love working in, but it is also one that can be stressful and frustrating at times. I have a great crew working for me at the Inn, which makes my life easier, and I hope makes us all happier to come to work every day. It is a great pleasure to know that I have such great people working for me, and I know that reflects on our customers also.
I will use this Blog to talk about our hotel, the hotel industry overall, and why I love this property. Expect to see more photos. A picture is worth a thousand words after all, and I’d rather not type those thousand words.
